2026-27 Steering Committee Nominations
Welcome and thank you for your interest in serving on the Workforce Matters Steering Committee!
Our Steering Committee members provide oversight and strategic direction for the activities of the Workforce Matters network, such as:
- Suggesting topics for future learning opportunities and events
- Getting to know a small group of peer grantmakers from across the country
- Helping us develop a long-term vision for the future of Workforce Matters
- Participating in bonus, small-group learning activities as a part of our quarterly meetings
Steering Committee members serve for two-year terms, running from January 1, 2026 - December 31, 2027. Committee members must work for an grantmaking organization that is already a supporting member of Workforce Matters or be willing to commit to support Workforce Matters over the life of the member's term. In addition, Steering Committee members must be grantmakers who work for a private, independent, family, or corporate foundation; a corporate giving program; a community foundation or other grantmaking public charity; operating foundation; funder collaborative; giving circle; or a United Way.
